Storage & cleaning
This page covers how to store the suit between sessions and how to clean it without damaging the fabric or electronics. It includes storage steps with the bundled hanger and cover, precautions before cleaning, prohibited methods (machine washing, bleaching, tumble drying, and more), and the cleaning techniques Teslasuit recommends.
Warning
Disconnect the power bank and remove it from the pocket before cleaning the suit. Improper cleaning damages the suit and may void the warranty.
Storage#
- Unplug the suit from the power bank.
- Store the suit on the bundled hanger.
- Put on the bundled anti-dust cover.
- Keep the suit and its accessories in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Don't turn the suit inside out.
- Do not cut off the label with the QR code.

Cleaning precautions#
Clean the suit according to the recommendations below. Disconnect the power bank and remove it from the pocket before cleaning the suit.
DON'Ts
- Do Not Wash — The suit must not be washed in the machine or by hand.
- Do Not Bleach — No bleach should be used at all.
- Do Not Tumble Dry — The suit can't safely be machine dried.
- Do Not Iron — The suit does not withstand ironing. It may be damaged.
- Do Not Dry Clean — No professional dry-cleaning allowed. Do not use stain removers which contain solvents.
- Very Mild Professional Wet Cleaning — Wet cleaning techniques for very sensitive textiles with much reduced mechanical action are required.
- Drip Flat Drying In Shade — Lay flat to dry out of direct sunlight. Do not wring prior to laying out.
Cleaning methods#
We recommend the following cleaning methods for the suit. Any other cleaning methods can damage the suit. Temporary deformation of the fabric after cleaning is possible.
- Very mild professional wet cleaning
- Steam closet (Refer to the user manual for specific manufacturer instructions)
- Hand steamer (Refer to the user manual for specific manufacturer instructions)
- Wet wipes
